The MBI-6128R-T2 MicroBlade module supports two Intel Xeon E5-2600 V3/V4 series processors in LGA2011 sockets embedded in the motherboard.

Each of the MBI-6128R-T2 MicroBlade module’s nodes has eight 288-pin DIMM sockets that can support up to 256 GB VLP RDIMM of DDR4 2400/2133 MHz speed, 32GB, 16 GB, 8 GB and 4 GB size VLP DIMM memory. Memory is interleaved, which requires both modules to be of the same size and speed.

The MBI-6128R-T2 MicroBlade module has two 2.5" SATA3 HDD/SSD internally mounted drives and one SATA-DOM drive that it can also use for storage or for installation of the node’s operating system. 

A maximum of twenty-eight blade modules may be installed into a single blade enclosure. Each blade enclosure is a 6U form factor, so a standard 42U rack may accommodate up to seven enclosures with 196 blade modules, the equivalent of 784 1U servers. With the inclusion of up to fourteen CMM modules and up to twenty-eight Gigabit Ethernet switches this would occupy up to 826U space in a conventional 1U server configuration
