The FatTwin F627G3-FT+/FTPT+/F73+/F73PT+ is a high-end server based on the F424AG-R1K62B 4U rackmount chassis and a dual processor X9DRFF-iG+/iTG+/7G+/7TG+ serverboard. All models have four IPMI LAN port and eight serverboard nodes with two (2) hot-swap 3.5" SAS or SATA Hard Disk Drives (HDD) each per node. The F627G3-F73+ and F627G3-F73PT+ servers have SAS2 instead of SATA drives, while both the F627G3-FTPT+ and F627G3-F73PT+ servers use 10-Gigabit LAN ports instead of Gigabit LAN ports. The X9DRFF-iG+/iTG+/7G+/7TG+ motherboard supports dual Intel E5-2600 (v2) Series Processors (Socket R LGA 2011) that offer QPI (Intel QuickPath Interface) Technology (V.1.1), providing point-to-point connection with a transfer speed of up to 8.0 TG/s.
