The Dell PowerEdge R430 is a 8 bay SFF 1U rackmount server. The PowerEdge R430 offers latest generation, peak performance in a space-conscious 1U design. With support for dual Intel Xeon E5-2600 v3 and v4 processors, the R430 is on par architecturally with the PowerEdge R630 - but it comes at a lower price point. As long as you don't need the full memory expandability of the R630, then the R430 is an ideal v3 server. The PowerEdge R430 is ideal for many performance workloads, including High Performance Computing (HPC), web hosting, scale-out architecture, and onsite surveillance.
